In ALL cases this is a FALSE ALARM as NONE of the Game Trainers GCW contain known malicious code! More info in the PC Games FAQ!
Some Game Trainers are sometimes reported to be a Virus or Trojan, the most common is a keylogger called HotKeysHook or the file has been packed/protected with VMProtect or Themida and is recognized as Win32/Packed.VMProtect or Win32/Packed.Themida.
In most cases using a No-CD or Fixed EXE will solve this problem!
Some original games do not work when a certain application has been installed, like DAEMON Tools. When using Fixed Files make sure to use a Firewall which controls outgoing traffic, as some games call back to report the use of these modified files!. When this happens use the original EXE to play online, else you could find yourself banned from the game! Some No-CD/Fixed EXE files work fine in Single Player mode but are detected to be modified when trying to play online. Always make a backup of the files that are overwritten by the File Archive, as the original files are usually required to update the game to a newer version or to play Online!. It's only when I activate/move my cursor on the screen that it freezes. If I use my arrows to pan around my character, I get no freezes or stops. I've tried borderless game programs, nothing seems to work. I have tried changing resolution settings. I'll keep this up LONG after the time it should take for the enemies to get to me, but as soon as I stop, they continue from the position they were in when I started moving the cursor. Or if enemies are walking toward me, I start circling my cursor around and everything freezes. I've tried it while spells were being fired at me and the shots freeze mid-air as soon as I start moving my cursor, and only continue (as well as the entire viewable environment) after I stop moving my mouse.
However, for the first time, I'm seeing a strange phenomenon where the game animation and progression of time freezes anytime I move the cursor on the screen. I recently re-installed the game via the original disks and patched it up to v2.2.
